Squares of Care accepting squares

Sep 27, 2022 | COVID-19 UPDATES, News

We are happy to announce that the Squares of Care program at Wellwood is now accepting squares.  THANK YOU so much everyone for your patience and for continuing to knit or crochet squares while things were shut down.

Due to the lengthy pause in the program during the COVID-19 protocol restrictions,  Wellwood is now in a situation where extra help is needed in assembling all of the squares, so if you are able to help with that as well, fantastic!

I have completely redesigned and updated the Warm Hope website which now also includes information on assembling your own squares as well as pre-made squares.

Please note the new drop-off and pick-up information on the site as it has also changed, including the Wellwood community centre being closed to walk-ins.

The landscape changes weekly as adjustments are made to the situation around us. We are making progress, though, and Wellwood is happy they are able to be handing out afghans again!

Stay tuned as things continue to change, I’ll do my best to keep you up to date through my Warm Hope website and emails.

Thank you so much for your interest, contributions and caring.
