We’ve just received notice that McMaster Children’s University Hospital that they will no longer be accepting “handmade” items, including our children’s afghans. All reference and instructions for making these afghans have been removed from the site as a result.
If you were in the process of making a child-sized afghan, perhaps you can add some extra squares or consider making a donation to a women’s shelter instead.
