I’m writing to share a few updates:
To those who deliver squares or completed afghans to our hospital site. Due to an unforeseen incident within the Indigenous Healing Centre (shared with Wellwood’s hospital site) the site is now temporarily closed, with an anticipated re-opening of May 1st. During this closure, arrangements have been made to have your donations accepted at the main Information Desk in the cancer centre. Please see the map for directions. Please ensure to leave a note with your name in the bag so I can be sure to thank you.
If you haven’t yet heard, Wellwood is celebrating 30 years and we invite you to join us. If you have heard, and have purchased a ticket, we Thank You and look forward to seeing you. This celebration is not only a chance to reflect on all that has been accomplished over the years, but also an opportunity to come together in gratitude for the incredible community that has made it possible – that’s you!
